The Edge Duck Calls

The proven design duck call that gives you the EDGE

“The Edge Duck Calls” are working calls with a lasting quality designed to be passed from generation to generation.  

Call bodies are made from native Missouri wood species such as Eastern red cedar, black walnut, and cherry.  Each call body is turned on a lathe, and shaped to the desired look and feel.  The checkering layout is determined, then hand checkering is applied to the call.  

The standard “metal reed” stopper is also hand made, fitted to each individual call body by color and size.  The reed is also fitted to the stopper and is rough tuned to provide a tone that will bring ducks to your blind.  Instructions are also provided with each call so you can fine tune your call to your particular calling style.  

Hybrid calls are now being made using Echo brand polycarbonate inserts, either single or double reed styles.  There is also a choice of colors of black, green, bourbon, clear, or smoke in the timber inserts and green, bourbon, or smoke in the open water inserts.  Goose calls use the short reed type insert.  The color of the goose call insert is black.  

Prices for the standard or hybrid hand checkered calls are currently $125.00.
